Where are you from?
I am a proud Salvadoran artist living in LA 

Tell us about your family.
It has always been my mother  and myself tackling all that life has thrown at us and its thanks to her strength that I am able to stand strong and chase after anything I want to accomplish, and I bring that to everything I do in life and apply it to my art. 

Tell us about past work/school or other meaningful experiences.
I've had to work in multiple fields of work throughout my life that never felt right for me, ranging from construction to kitchens just to be able to survive, but working in art is something truly freeing being able to express anything and everything through art.

What is something you are proud of?
I am proud of my journey and I'm proud of not giving up, because I always find myself standing in new horizons I was never been able to explore before.

How did you first hear about Piece by Piece?
I came to Piece by Piece about 7 months ago. My very dear friend Rosa who believed in me brought me to my first workshop. 

How have you grown as a person and artist since joining Piece by Piece?
Yes, but I believe we never stop growing. Everyday there are loose pieces of ourselves that we recover by doing things that we love that nurture our inner talents, and that for me is growth.

When did you start creating mosaics?
7 months ago when I joined Piece by Piece!

What has Piece by Piece and creating mosaics added to your life?
It added a sense of merit and accomplishment that brings me a lot of joy which is all I'm trying to focus on life right now.

Who inspires you?
What inspires me? Nature. symmetry, and life's beauty and complexity!
Who inspire me? Edvard Munch, Andy Warhol, Vermeer, and Salvador Dahli to name a few.

What are you most proud of from your Piece by Piece time so far?
Being able to show my worth and my crazy cookie mind in art form anyone can enjoy and connect to since everything I make has so much of me poured into it.

What keeps you coming back to Piece by Piece?
The pure happiness and community Piece by Piece brings to everyone.
